Yo Demeter! Give the curmudgeon his exit papers already!
<>==========<>==========<>
Let’s see how my fellow Slicers are doing on the 20th day of the challenge:
Nice use of Greek mythology, but isn’t it Persephone who should be sending Hades away or walking out of the underground to make mama Demeter happy?
Ha! I was purposefully mixing myths if you will. Persephone should be coming up to make Mama Demeter. I figure it’s the first day of spring. Persephone just got here, but Demeter hasn’t had time to send notice to her peons Old Man Winter and Jack Frost to knock it off, because all goddesses have peons right? 🙂
To make mama do what? Or, was that a “smart phone” typo for “meet”?
Indeed…in fact, I wouldn’t have associated folk myths with Greek ones…and recently rewrote a story about this peon matter…but you just said it as if you plucked the story from my head.
Yesterday the sun was shining and the sky was blue.
Today 4 more inches. I’d scream and pull out my hair, but then I would be bald and have a cold head. You can check out my thoughts of Spring in my post today if you’d like.
