Never had to wait on one of those, but I sure know the feeling you’re talking about.
Yes- when I was waiting, I tried to just go to a Zen place- but I was so attuned to that subtle and distant squeal, that glimmer of bounced light. And once identified, the tension I had not known was there falling off, like leaves in winter.

I do this too! Then they placed a mirror at the end to avoid the risk of someone falling in the tracks. Great photo!
