  1. oh wow…this is really good…have you read the tupac poem about the flower groing through the sidewalk? it is very good…as is yours…we all need help…that is often hard to accept…i know it was for me at one point in life…and then the turn to personal in who it grew into…love that…this is really good…

  2. I love this metaphorical poem and the images you use. The form is cool, too, and I’m glad you shared it with us. For a few years, in the walkway to our front door, a little bunch of forget-me-not grew between the slabs of concrete. If I recall, I used them in a poem I wrote, too, as a metaphor for endurance.

  3. I too was not expecting the ending and was nicely surprised by it. I actually thought you were going to dig it up and put it in a planter somewhere to save it and to beautify your garden which in a way is what you did with your wife. She sounds as if she has truly beautified your life and this is such a wonderful poem of love.

Thank you for sharing it with us for this weeks Theme Thursday. I hope you have a wonderful weekend with your family.

    God bless.

So? What do you think?
