  1. So much imagery in this slice. I was right there with you smelling him in his “living room” on each opening door. I don’t commute by train, but now I know what to do if a car seems eerily empty!

  2. Dag! This slice is the best I’ve read all day! Where to begin? The topic choice – unexpected, honest, relatable. I’ve never been in a subway car so I would be the rookie stuck in the stink, no doubt. Your opening paragraph is perfection. For real. I was hooked at the end of the first sentence. You use a lot of imagery that makes this piece flow nicely. Can’t wait to read more of what you’ve got in store for us this month 🙂

  3. It is years since I have ridden on a subway. I have never had the pleasure (?) you experienced. All I remember from those rides was the blank states of all of the riders. If course, I was just a kid at the time.

So? What do you think?
