  1. Immediately, I started singing this:

Song: “Blow, blow, thou winter wind”
    BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE

    Blow, blow, thou winter wind,
    Thou art not so unkind
    As man’s ingratitude;

Thy tooth is not so keen,
    Because thou art not seen,
    Although thy breath be rude.

Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly:
Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly:
    Then, heigh-ho, the holly!
    This life is most jolly.

    Freeze, freeze, thou bitter sky,
That dost not bite so nigh
    As benefits forgot:

    Though thou the waters warp,
Thy sting is not so sharp
    As friend remembered not.

    Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly…

    • Geesh! I felt ten degrees colder and started looking for seven dwarves to decorate the house for the holidays while reading that – quit it! 😀

  2. This is how I feel about March, too. If we could transition from winter to spring without mud, I’d be a happier camper about the cold, but, alas, the combo keeps me sad.

  3. We are now at 28 degrees here. Today we had snow flurries and bright sunshine. I did not put my winter coat away and have no plans on doing so anytime soon.

    • Thanks Merlinetet78, it’s still winter, so I’m comfortable with being right, granted it’s a literal *cold* comfort, but one I’m prepared for. *smiles *

So? What do you think?
